I am seeing the same problem. The franchise mode in this game is totally broken right now. Can a patch fix it? Not sure if I am going to keep it long enough to find out.

Exactly; for some reason I just do not feel any immersion whatsoever with Madden. It feels as tho it's going through the motions just to get an NFL game out there. NCAA has such a deep Dynasty mode...

The only reason that I jumped ship to Madden last year was due to the crippling AI problems that emerged in the '12 game of NCAA. In doing so, I quickly realized that Madden just seemed super boring...
