Just reiterating what everyone else said: 80 pitches is not a high pitch count in 8 innings. That tells me that you were seeing a lot of strikes or swinging a lot. Don't be afraid to let him burn...

At what point are you simming to? Teams won't start making any real roster moves until early May. Sim until May 31st, and if teams don't do any moves, than you might need to start over :(
