Can you switch teams mid-game in offline dynasty?

For instance if I wanted to play the offense of both teams in a dynasty game and switch back and forth every possession.

I'm not sure if he changed a setting that caused this, but in his dynasty his backups didn't accumulate stats even though he simmed many games.
