I've had the same thing happen to me in a LOT of scenarios. It pisses me off. The trade logic is a bit messed in this game, in my opinion. Better than last year, but still pretty bad.

It is a pretty good team with good upside (but David Kahn should still lose his job for 2009-10's sake). You have a lot of wings and guards and subpar backup bigs, so maybe trade for a better backup...

Be a PG. You can give yourself size and a good inside shot if you want to play like an SG, but what you want is the ball. Otherwise, the mode just sucks.

As far as shotblocking goes, give Tyrus Thomas or Marcin Gortat a try. I also did really well with Shaq and Kaman, but they might be a bit hard to get.
