BAP Rosters Question...

Where do they get the rosters from for BAP mode? I have one saved roster on my ps3 right now but when I create a new BAP that can't be the roster it's pulling from.

Which one would it be using and...

Just froze playing an online team game. Takes a half an hour to load and get into a game and it freezes 30 seconds into the game. The best $70 I ever spent.
