I don't play much online but I'd go with the team with best goalie as that is the one guy you will not be controlling.

But I'm sure someone who plays more online than me can help you more.

Yes, just like in real life screens, deflections and rebounds are great ways to score.

I loved that guy back in the days.

Speaking of names, they need to add a lot of names. There are, I believe, even names they say in-game that you can't pick when creating a player.

The good news is that it's not just you.. which also is the bad news I guess.

EA screwed up injuries this year. What most people do is play a week or two with injuries on and then switch them off...

That's my biggest gripe about online play in most games, it has a tendency to **** all over the offline experience.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Online and Offline used different patches?

I believe there is a sliders for checking and poking. I might be wrong, haven't looked at the screen for a while.

And about the neutral zone.. yea that is kind of how the game plays according to...

I like for them to have all the legends from past games in there. Saw no reason why they needed to take away Legends in '13.

I would love it if they did, but the way of EA (and many others) is online so I doubt we will see it.

I've been told that they they do read them and I know some members have been invited to the community thing EA throws at times (is it once a year?) so I'd say it at least an OK chance of them...

Possibly, it is all human bodies though, but that doesn't necessarily mean you can't use the same engine.

For instance take a look at the Havok engine...

Hockey players does that too, move and push off with their feets and what not.

Besides, the Ignite Engine would power the EA Sports games much like the Frostbite engine powers the Battlefield...

Depends on how you see it.

They may very well release NHL'14 for the XboxOne as well, but it will be the exact same game as for the 360.

Seeing how NHL wasn't one of the four games presented at the reveal, I find it highly unlikely that they'll use the Ignite Engine for NHL'14. If they were they would have said so.
