The Playstation cloud is *not* the same as the MLB The Show cloud. Here's what you need to do:

If you're using "Default", then you should use the left stick to point to the runner you want to steal (this will light up their icon on the diamond) and then initiate the steal.

If your Baserunning Interface (in Gameplay Settings) is set to "Default", then it's L1 to lead off and R1 to go back. Also, you need to have Baserunning Decisions set to "Assist".

Default base running really stinks this year. I remember L1/R1 being WAY more responsive when advancing runners.. anyone having similar issues with both stealing & running?

This is weird.. totally not working for me. L1 lead off works fine, but L2 does jack. It's especially frustrating when you're trying to hit and run or get a head start on a 3-2. So you have to tap L2...

I don't think so. I did the exact same thing, because I didn't know it had to be via The Show cloud. Rented the PS3 version from Redbox tonight for $2.. hoping to have my RTTS & Franchise saves...

A word of advice to people trading in their PS3 copy: Make sure you back up your RTTS, Franchise files, etc, to the MLB THE SHOW...
