Also, what the hell does plate discipline have to do with fielding ability? There's absolutely no reason why there should be a cap on stats like discipline or vision.

Awesome changes, because what everyone who plays RTTS wants is to have a generic archetype of a player. So much for player freedom. I have to wonder if the dev team really thinks these things...
