I was around in 1983. I recall just how well the market sorted out the Video Game industry. Sorted it out so well it crashed. Could list a few hundred other times the market did a swell job sorting...

CDPR did have to pay a licensing fee at one point because it is based on a book. The author Andrzej Sapkowski made the unwise decision of accepting what amounts to a $9,500 American dollar one time...

Interesting game choices. I do not recall being able to buy micro transactions on the Genesis or NES or the internet for that matter. The influences of slot machines and other gambling games/modes...

Some people are able to see the bigger picture. The gambling mechanics are intentional, even the ones that do not cost money to play. They are preying on kids the same way the cigarettes companies...
