I hope they don't give MTs, or just change it to win 10 straight for MTs or team score 50pts+ to earn MTs so regions like asia and europe won't be plague by MT farm bots again.

Probably because most PCs doesn't have SSD yet. next gen are all programmed for SSD speed. so it's more for compatibility that no nba 2k pc players will be left out if suddenly SSD is required.

This mode is pretty much dead.
It takes 20mins-30mins to find a match that isn't a bot who is farming VCs by quitting at the matchmaking screen or in the first minute of the game. what a waste of...
