I do not know if it matters in manage mode either. I, however, use JoshC1977's setup and sliders for my franchise.

So you're just the manager? You let the cpu handle the scouting, drafting, and all of the other GM duties? I have thought about trying that. I'm doing a Boston Red Sox franchise.
