It's almost unplayable. It hurts the flow of the offense, because it throws the timing of the plays the cpu runs off.

I play player lock. It might be better if you are controlling every player.

I play on allstar and i see more variety in gameplay. More dribblers, more bloob singles. Might be placebo though.

I reduce every pitchers k/9 rating by 20 (i reverse cpu opponents back after series against me).

But that reduces swing and misses only i think.

The problem that there are too many strikeouts...

A lot depends on the roster u use.

Fidelity for instance toned down the vision rating for a lot of players. This increases ks a lot . I use Bobby Witt in my cpu vs cpu franchise and his vision...

You can take over one team at the screen before the game, choose your pitcher and setup your lineup. Then proceed to in-game and switch the control back to the middle to get a cpu vs cpu game.

I believe it has something to do with quick counts. If i turn them off it seems to be way better.

I have lower strikeout rates without quick counts as well. (around 10 per team - with quick counts...

I am a firm believer of leaving the sliders on default. I have seen some sliders having mega impact when moved only one click (timing for instance. CPU at 6 timing is making them hit wayyy better...
