The hd is encrypted and mated to the system it resides on. If your system goes down, your data goes down with it. The only way to get it back, until someone defeats the encryption, is to get that...

Just got mine back from the local store. Turns out they can't fix it this time (something about the power supply), at least they refunded my money. They didn't even want it for parts. Said to ebay...
