I am a center drafted by the rockets too. I am still in the first season, lost the MVP to LeBron despite we have the best record in the league (68-14) and average 23pts 11rebs...

I usually release the right stick when I see my player's shoulder turn to the basket. I got pretty good result hook right on the right block and hook left on the left block (the body facing baseline)...

I play on all star sim 10 minutes quarter. The final score usually around 9x-10x, which is pretty realistic imo. And the computer would only cheat occasionally at this level

It's weird, I never have playing time reduce like many people have for being a center in mycareer. I guess it also helps that the rocket is clearly missing a quality big man so I don't have much...

Yeah I really like the shot blocking part too. I am not a good shot blocker, usually I just put my hands up when playing defense against my own man.

From my personal experience, hold down RT or R2 would only make my player jump and tip the ball.
I think it's all about timing though.

It is a pretty good list. However, base on your criteria, the 67 Sixers/72 Lakers and 86 Celtics/77 Blazers are in conflict with your rules since Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Walton played for both...
