Modding is in full swing again this year over at mvpmods.com for MLB 2K12 PC. Another conversion should hopefully be completed later this year. I've attached some recent modding screen caps....

People who have registered keys never lose the rights. Not sure about a new code. Otherwise dvd copies are found on amazon and ebay.

Pretty easy man. Just drag and drop files. Nothing to it. As for gameplay just plug in an xbox 360 controller and play.
