Most games sales I have seen tend to sell the most in the first few months. Follow that with EA knows how many unit they sell in the first month of every game they ever sell. For a CEO to go on...

The way I look at it EA has only so many choices:

1 - Presentation/Gameplay
2 - Online single game or tourney style
3 - Online Franchise (don't see why this can't share a lot with offline but)...

I don't think the gameplay is the big problem here.

I think silly bugs in the gameplay are annoying but should be fixable.

It is the franchise mode and presentation that are the big problems...
