A majority of the time, you'll get #3 vs #4 and #5 vs #6 or fairly close ranking teams playing in the major bowls. Can't recall off hand how they rank the bowl games though.

In the Recruiting menu, it says that Conference prestige is based on the Coaches Poll rank of the top 6 teams in each conference. Those 6 teams rankings are averaged and the highest ranking conferene...

I eliminate all bowl tie-ins. I've noticed some pretty good matchups doing this.
