Your exactly right, it does give you an entire new perspective on the game. I might just go ahead and try the broadcast view to see what its like.

I believe it definitely improves the overall game itself, and it makes gameplay more realistic. You get a nice view of the field, but not an entire view. When a QB pans left, he's normally not able...

Hold the Left trigger, and then use the left stick to pan side to side (PS3). This will show you the DB's.
