They did later on - gameplanning. They'd have you run a few different plays during the week, and it gave you a boost. Adding weekly practice is a terrible idea. It's been done by many different...

People forget, EA added Training as well. They may have had it before 2k, I don't remember. But it was taken out, because people complained it was unrealistic.

Because 95% of players would just skip through that stuff anyway? Not everyone loved 2k, contrary to how it may seem on these boards occasionally. I thought all the halftime stuff was more annoying...
