1) Ranked is more like a regular season. A tournament would be the playoffs( or LEC). Having a better record in the regular season(or ranked) doesnt mean you’re better. The GSP vs CM Punk examples...

This isnt a tournament tho. Ranked is a completely different format.

2k does the same thing where you’re rewarded for using a lower rated teams. There’s nothing inherently more competitive about...

You’re trying to ignore the fact that the CM Punk player is using waaaaay more skill to get that far. His 18 wins is way more impressive than the GSP player’s 19 wins.

The CM Punk player should absolutely be considered better/ ranked higher in that scenario

It takes infinitely more skill to win with Punk than someone like GSP.
