Seems like it's time to revisit this thread... how does everyone feel about blocking this year? I feel like it's much improved and I love it, you can actually block from behind now and pin people...

Yeah it looks like Anthony Davis should've sent that out into the stands but instead he just triggered a missed layup animation.

What really hurts blocking soft layups is the baseline animations too. You'll see a guy like Curry drive baseline and go up on Anthony Davis, but Curry will get an animation where he sort of glides...

I really hope they re-tool that system (for the guards and such) and bring it back, even if they don't bring it back until 2K17 it would be better than what we have now.

I feel like this would assist the defense in online play as well as offline, as of now the defense has one block animation and that's to jump in the air and swat a single arm. To help counter zig...
