I think, in Gaunlet, player behavior is super basic and imposed by some sort of Gauntlet set of controls.

If you have the ballhandler at the top of the arc, your two teammates will hang out...

I don't know, but my guess would be that this comes down to balancing gameplay. Wall and Westbrook are Posterizing Driving Dunk machines, whereas Curry will only put up layups. So, for gameplay,...
