Well, the way I see it if they're going to strikeout anyway swinging at something no one in their right mind should be swinging at, I'll tell them not to swing with a hope they may actually get on...

I guess I'm one of a kind then. I get tired of my batters swinging at balls WAY out of the strike zone so sometimes I just tell them to take. It actually results in more walks than you would image....

If you're talking MoM, there is a batter option to take pitch.

It's a shame when people have to start off with...I know it won't happen, but some developers don't care all that much about what players want unless it has something to do with them making more $.

Actually, the pitchers don't feed any more fat pitches than before. The number of hits, on average, hasn't changed. I think what it actually does is change batter strategy. Even my batters aren't...

One slider that seems to help by making batters more aggressive is moving the "strike frequency" slider up to 6. It does mention that changing that will change the AI strategy. I see a lot more...

I've seen so much of the players on both my teams, Astros and Dodgers, watching 3rd strikes over the heart of the plate (then turn and say something to the ump) but will strikeout swinging at balls...

I haven't gotten the "pitch aggressive" option to work in the last 3 versions (including this one). Usually ends off being a ball and many times one that's not close to the strike zone. Maybe my idea...

You really shouldn't look at pitches per inning as much as looking at avg pitches per batter. I think the real life avg for pitches per batter is around 4. If that number looks reasonably close then...

I'm 20 games into the season with my 2 teams and I still haven't lost anyone to injury. Opposing teams have lost a total of 2 players, 1 catcher and 1 OF.
