I'd say there's a bit of a difference between cleanly-delivered blindside hits and clotheslines. That, to me, is an apples/oranges comparison. I don't "hope" players get injured, but if they happen...

Blindside hits have always been part of the game. It's where the phrase "keep your head on a swivel" came from. No reason a player making a hit that has always been considered clean should be...
