They wouldn't know the exact figure but with the internet, they know who else they are recruiting and how much attention they are getting. Kids aren't dumb. Why sign with a school if they are...

They know where you rank them and their interest fluctuates accordingly. If they are a top prospect, they will be offended by a low ranking and lose interest in your school. Your ranking represents...
