Another somewhat-related question: doesn't EA have the rights to use the likeness of any player in the Pro Football Hall of Fame? Or is that done on a per-player basis a la APF2K8?

Whether the past players know its user-created or not doesn't change the fact that the content is in fact user-created and EA ultimately isn't responsible for what sort of content is generated with...
