the rule he's referring to is that players with same numbers can't be on the field at the same time

Your right they shouldn't be, but they have been and probably will continue to be held accountable by former NCAA athletes who feel we shouldn't have the ability to play as their likeness regardless...

RCopenhagen EA has been sued at least a couple of times regarding the issue of player likeness not from the NCAA itself but from former athletes. Not saying that's necessarily the thing keeping them...
