Gang tackling may frustrate some of the casuals because it might make defending the run more difficult. Suppose the RB gains three yards before contact and then drags the defensive back two yards...

Gang tackling would turn off many casual players so EA probably will not even try to put it in the game.

There is a rumor that the PS3 version will have gang tackling, but how can they do this in one year knowing that the animations would have to be redone?
