The facial animation was in fact in Madden 06 on Xbox 360. Their mouths moved and had animations like they were discussing things.

They went many versions of the game without really touching equipment(cleats, gloves).

The devs definitely have to do more compromising than they should. I don't envy their position, but it's one their publisher put them in...

If realism and authenticity is the focus, everyone should be in agreement. That hasn't always been the focus which is why I say they were making the game they wanted to make. It's good to see them...

There really isn't. We went a whole generation without them, and they still aren't in. It's not like players stopped wearing them. I think the fans get comfortable with the game, and the devs start...

I don't think they are man. I'm starting to think they don't want to have them because of the facial animations they look to show off.

Some of the cleats look deformed and the colors are off from the gameplay camera. Basically they become low res versions.
