I have been gone for a while, and today when I put in Madden it told me I had to update. I had already applied the big patch. What is this new update? Or is it possible my cache got cleared?

I agree. The only way to avoid this is to use the RB button to do fake snap calls and to vary your count. It is ridiculous though.

No, Your Franchise should be fine since you started it with the patch. Just make sure you reload the patch before playing and saving.

There is no doubt in my opinion that the CPU will now kick the longer FGs. It used to be if they were on the 35 or 36 they would always punt unless it was the end of the half or end of the game, but...
