Good first half. Gotta clean up the silly penalties and capitalize on TFL opportinities.

Shame we only get 1 year of Dwayne Haskins and that he doesn’t get to play in a CFP game. Amazing talent.

I rewound it on DVR. The literal very first point of contact between Williams and Murray is helmet to helmet.

I’ve seen players tossed for incidental helmet to helmet contact. Application of it varies by day and by officiating crew.

Helmet to helmet contact with the QB (which it clearly was after reviewing it on DVR) seems like it’s targeting to me. Or at least that’s what they always call.

Helmet comes off pretty much right...

I saw pretty clear helmet to helmet contact. Didn’t get knocked off until after they hit the ground. But it looked like helmet to helmet to me.

Looked like targeting to me. But there’s no way a ref is throwing that flag on Alabama, especially on Quinnen Williams of all players, in this game.

If Jake Fromm can throw for 300+ and 3TD, I think Haskins would do just fine.

Nobody is beating Alabama or Clemson this year so it’s a moot point anyway.

I would’ve liked to have seen Dwayne Haskins get a shot at this Bama D. Especially since Oklahoma’s defense makes ours look like the 85 Bears.

And in 2008 and 2014 they ran into ridiculously talented Florida and Ohio State teams that were peaking and littered with NFL talent.
