I agree. I think once you get the initial pruning done, the CPU actually does a fine job of managing its own roster by adding FA when necessary to round out the roster and accommodate for injuries.

Awesome list!

For teams I like to use, OAK, as an example, I'll have a QB who can start, but who is not a franchise guy and who is not young. Like if I move Campbell or Palmer--that's looking like...
