You can't just hold onto it for half a second, you need to wait until like a circle with lightning appears under him.

Yeah and I think it's that you need to have a rocket/laser arm ability.

I'm in practice all offense mode right now to see if this whole "if you let go it goes away" business is true.

Charge up for about a second with Cunningham, it stays forever.

Fine for me, especially bc I have Sharpe as my TE so I throw to him a lot. You can let go once you're charged up you know.
