I think everyone understands your points already.. we are questioning why roster updates cannot be included in the in game menus, and outside of XBOX LIVE Gold membership features.

bottom line is Roster updates should be free.. end of story

I have an XBOX Live Silver membership
I have NBA 2k8 on my 360, and get updated rosters free via in game menu option.

So, tell me...

this is the only reason I bought the game for the PS3.. otherwise I would of bought it for my xbox 360.. i also don't want or need a gold membership

I would add this to the Madden 2010 wishlist...
