Seems like you have so much going against you when going up for a block

- Will you jump? and if you do will there be an unnecessary long gather?

- Will you get that 'knocked out of the air'...

Seems like the most probable way to ensure a block is a heavy swat with RT + Y like this:

After 2K11, 2k seemed to start working on making things more organic at the rim...2K12/13 were bumpy rides in that process...

While it was a fun game defensively, 2K11 relied on some pretty heavy...

Still don't get why they scrapped the blocking system completely after 2K14...I know it had some wonky aspects with guards getting blocks but I loved it man...I used to let guys get by me sometimes...
