Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

Well, I'm disappointed with missing features. Great features that were in the game 6+ years ago are still not re-implemented and are still missing. That's over half a decade of waiting for features...

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

Blaming it on code is a cop out. I can agree with what you say as far as game play, but not the features around game play. The code around the game play should have little interface with the game...

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

What the heck was this in your post for? The guy has a legit opinion, some of it I disagree with, but it's legit. The difference he and I have is where to place the blame. But his post was filled...

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

I really don't think it's the coders complacency, I think it the execs, in how they allocate resources. I just thinks it's the EA/Madden execs business model. To try and maximize profit every year.

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

Exactly. You can throw the NFL in there for allowing an exclusive license.

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

That's great dude. I accept your choice. I disagree w/ it being worth the money, but that's a difference of opinion.

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

A quote from your post:
"We're not talking about advancing or moving NFL video games forward."

I'm talking about the game not being where it was at over half a decade ago. I'm talking about the...

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

And you just hit the nail on the head as to what is wrong with Madden. The exclusive rights deal. I don't blame the devs. I blame the ones in charge of assigning the resources, I blame EA for...

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

Why are you purchasing the game, if you don't want the game to be advancing or moving forward?

If the choice is to play a Sub par NFL Licensed game, or none at all, then there are many people...

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

Well, think about it. If that was the ONLY vehicle being made, and if you old truck was cheap enough, then I would buy it from you. Cause, my only other choice would be to buy another used or new...

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

I'm not acting like a 4 year old. And there are no other modes of transportation.

Denying that competition doesn't breed better products, and denying that Madden today has not even reached where...

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

If I hated the car, but it's the only car out there, then I would HAVE to use it. I would have to get it fixed whenever it breaks down. When the car just can't be fixed anymore, then I'd have to...

Re: EA Taking a big gamble?

Depends on what your choices are. If we only had ONE car manufacturer, that made only ONE car, that car would sell, no matter how good or bad the car was.

Competition/Choices mean something.
