Not to mention the fact that, if memory serves, the Chargers never tried to hype Leaf once they got him into camp for a little while. They were pretty honest that he was an asshat that was not...

Which NFL team, knowing what they knew then, would have passed on Ryan Leaf???

Sure, there are a few that didn't need him (Green Bay for example), but 20+ NFL teams, if picking #1 or #2 that year...

Yeah...because you see a lot of press conferences where the Coach says, "You know I'm not very high on this guy at all. He's really nothing special. We are definately not expecting a breakout...
