It should come up right when you select "go race", there should be an option next to it that says "sim race" In a big grey box, with black text just like "go race". Are you in owner mode? Maybe...

It sims the race as if you showed up. You still earn money. Points. Fans. Progress towards your contract goals.

Downloading now. Hopefully you dont have to restart career mode for the race simming stuff to take effect. Nice list of updates. Hopefully the little glitch/freeze I experience from time to time...
