Go to your main menu and turn off the play clock. Start a user vs user game and you won't have to snap it.

Y is still for play ball/ball hawk/interceptions. Work on you timing maybe? Try pressing it a little earlier or holding Y.

short drop, quick routes, checkdowns to TE/RB. One area people ignore is that the release are different based on how far the QB has to throw. If its a short checkdown pass you can get the ball out...
