I mean let's say a 2nd round pick performs much better than anticipated and I want to boost his shooting, I would literally have to restart my whole Franchise.

No editing in Franchise mode has been reported.
It has been reported that no Player Editing will be allowed in Franchise Mode. This is a barebones feature once again left out.

Franchise guys and Franchise guys only, weigh in here with with your opinions...https://mobile.twitter.com/VTCRB_Gam...46145707683840
What I guess aggravates me most is that they market the game as NBA and you can't even get in BASIC NBA elements. If someone wants to replicate the NBA Season in their Franchise they can't even raise or lower a guys ratings based on performance?
It is just a game, but some guys Pre-Ordered(not me) because of hope of Basic Franchise improvements. For some throwing money around on games isn't a big deal, but others have to pick and choose which games to buy.NBA 2k18 Roster:

What’s wrong with EA? Might as well just cancel the series and concede to 2k, pointless garbage...I don’t get it

Re: No editing in Franchise mode has been reported.
Well, this is pretty disappointing. No purchase for me once again this year unfortunately. Was looking forward to possibly getting the game this year, but with no player editing in franchise mode........................I'm out! It's 2018 and that @%^& is just unacceptable.Last edited by ShowTyme15; 08-29-2018, 01:20 PM.Comment

Re: No editing in Franchise mode has been reported.
Unfortunately I’m not surprised. I know it’s good to hold out hope on things but when a company like EA continually takes different aspects of their games, rebrand them with a fancy new name in order to tout features, you know full well they would have said something about franchise changes before now.
I expect it will be exactly the same as last year. Ultimately I already decided that I can live with that but it’s definitely unfortunate.2016 NLL Champion Saskatchewan Rush

Not good to not include basic editing in Franchise mode, if you wanna be street ball just become a street ball title, in 2019 Bare Bones is u acceptable especially when independent titles offer more depth.

Re: No editing in Franchise mode has been reported.
I'm frustrated. I've been playing since the beginning of the series... Live 10 had all of these features and more, now we're back to square zero and Year 2 of 3... Get real EA, listen to your consumers and fix the game.Comment

Re: No editing in Franchise mode has been reported.
Whoa are you serious?? So they removed roster editing after putting it back last year, after the community been asking for this feature the last 5 years?? What the hell are you doing EA!! I was hoping we would have roster editing/roster sharing this year for franchise.. No purchase for them this year!! Something tells me they will add the feature back 3 weeks to a month after the game is released.NBA 2k18 Roster:
