sell it to us then. There's little to no in game footage, and tons of Euphoria hype, yet people are hailing it as the savior of the EA dominated football genre. Just having Euphoria physics doesn't make a game great, look at Star Wars Force Unleashed. That game has both Star Wars/LucasArts and Euphoria physics going for it, and impressions are that it could be average at best. GTA 4 would have sold well regardless.
2k even had a built in fan base from years of top notch competition to EA, that made the unlicensed APF2k8 a largely community hyped game. It still price dropped months after release and sold like 300k copies. If Backbreaker really is something special, and has a 2008 release, SHOW IT OFF!! Madden and NCAA are already out, so there's no danger in showing what they have at this point, supposedly months from release.
