Call me crazy, but that sounds like a pretty asinine assumption on your behalf.
I agree. I think the fact that Tiger not actively participating theoretically should give the devs more time to fix the game's real problems like the asinine AI scoring (which should take realistically one afternoon) and incorporating DL courses into tour mode instead of concentrating on developing useless Tiger facial expressions.

I wouldn't hold out much hope as it took these moronic designers about 5 years to give us a proper putting model. Chances are they will dumb this game down even further to appeal to the widest demographic possible to deflect any possible sales backlash from Tigergate.

Info sounds good, but I can already tell it's going to get old having to read through 1/3 of the posts being the same Tiger jokes we've all heard a million times.

Just saying...

Has there been any talk about swing mechanics for this game, the online version is pretty fun. I just havent heard about them wanting to do anything new with swinging, putting was fixed when will we see a more accurate representation of the difficulty of a consistent golf swing?

It's an exaggeration but let me put it this way: there are sports games that people love and though they become dated and fade away they still maintain some respect for having been pretty good games. The Tiger Woods series on the next-gen consoles is not one of those sports games. I think calling it a mediocre and forgettable attempt at a golf game is a more fair way of putting it.

I have thoroughly enjoyed TW10. Probably the best golf game I have ever played.

Did you play Links 2004? I know it didn't have much of a career mode, but as far as gameplay and the online aspects I felt like that game really got it right. If not for the fact of them shutting down their XSN sports network to no longer host tournaments I think there could still be a large group of people playing it.

I like Tiger, it's a fun game, but it still just baffles me that in so many ways it hasn't matched what Links did so long ago. Which especially for the online tournaments and such it doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to match what Links did, especially over the course of 7 years of development time.

Ok, rant done, just something that frustrates me greatly about the Tiger series. So far I have enjoyed their online browser addition beta, so hopefully they'll make big online play strides in their Tiger games across the board this year.
