Choice is always a good thing and at the very least, every company might bring something to the table that another company like SCEA could look at and say "hey, that was a good idea. Lets impliment something along those lines" u know, like how they implimented meter pitching which MVP did years prior?
Exaaaaaaaaaaactly.

I love The Show, think it's amazing, I can't even think of a flaw that comes to mind right now. But as with most everything, competition is a good thing! Seeing EA and SCEA face off in which MLB game is better year in and year out... well, just think about it. It would be great! I think EA would instantly jump to #2 behind SCEA and in front of 2K, and then it would be a dogfight. I honestly don't know what I'd do. I'd have to try out the new EA ballgame.

I compare baseball games to MVP 05. I played 4 or 5 seasons on that thing, I loved it. I can see myself doing that with MLB 11, because when I play that game I get the same feeling I had when I plyaed MVP.
Umm, yeah this pretty much sums my exact thoughts on the matter. MLB 11 has taken the crown of fav since MVP 05. I played numerous seasons myself on MVP. Numerous.

Greatest baseball mechanics, gameplay and re-playability than any other baseball game I've played. MLB: The Show comes close, but it still isn't MVP (Or better) in my opinion. Hope this new casual game EA is doing will be the precursor return of MVP when 2K's deal expires.

Like 2K Football the longer the games been gone the better it seems to get. The Show is far above anything MVP ever was IMO. In any case another baseball game is fine by me.

I would love EA to take another shot at MVP baseball. MVP '05 is still the greatest baseball game ever created to date IMO.

Re: EA Sports Jumping Back into Baseball?

I love how fast the haters came out, than got owned by the rest. MVP was definitely great, love the show all you want, (i do too) but as mentioned the more the better, and given sometime, chances are MVP series will become neck and neck with the show after one or two games with this gen.

This FB thing is definatley the batman signal, MVP is coming back
