Chillar?

He's not with the team anymore, he was cut.

I don't think Finley is rated too high. Sure he was injured last year and there are other TE's that had a better season in 2009 but most of you are forgetting that he is regarded as one of the best young TE's in the league and there is a very strong possibility that he will be the best TE in football this season. He is a tight end with the speed and play-making ability of an elite wide receiver and his rating in Madden 12 reflects that.

Before the injury. He tore his ACL right (I don't know 100%). I'm not a Packers fan/*****, I like them they're fun to watch. But to say a guy less than a year removed from a major surgery will be the same out the gate seems a bit of a stretch.

I think someone suggested down to about an 86...that seems fair.

Isn't Finley actually pretty slow? Don't see how he has an 86 speed rating, but hey they gave Greg Olsen an 87 speed rating so... whatever.

Also, Did Clay Matthews ever once cover anyone last year. Not sure how he has any coverage ratings let alone good ones.

These kinds of ratings, say I call them "perks" are what annoy me most when it comes to player ratings. I get the fact that Clay is a beast, I like him; but he's not known for his coverage ability.

He's their pass rush specialist, he's also stout against the run. But over the course of a game you don't see him matched up on a TE in passing situations...BECAUSE he's rushing the passer!
