I will admit I love me some Puig and think he is great for baseball in general... I'm probably the only Cardinals fan that likes him that I ever seen... most can't stand him.. to me he is must watch TV when he is playing...

ps. I don't think he compares to DeSean Jackson at all.. Puig is just a young silly kid not from America growing up still having fun in a new environment learning the culture here.. yeah he is cocky though... but I like that.

He gets the comparison due to his off-field behavior. On the field he makes mistakes, but also performs, similar to Jackson. I do think in general Puig was a terrible choice to use for this as by attaching the player to a event like this, you are attaching the brand to him.

I disagree with that as I love Puig's enthusiasm that I already seen him of him playing the game... he was just like a kid playing it with excitement and energy. He wasn't boring...

he will be very entertaining to watch play this just like he is one of the most entertaining young players to watch in the MLB.
