NHL 15 Post-Launch Content Update

I just don't get how you can't play ranked matches with a guest. That seems like SUCH an easy thing to include in the game.

If I start a GM or Be a Pro now, will these patches work integrate into my save files, or do I basically need to wait until October (not trying to exaggerate) to get something closer to the full experience?

Honestly...I doubt it. I liken it to when they would release roster updates....you had to start a new franchise each time.

We couldn't get an answer to that question from the developer. That usually means to expect the worst and hope for the best.

We likely won't know until the patches start dropping. But I, personally, would expect to have to start a new to see the effects when the time comes.

There's absolutely no reason why these modes don't have full functionality. MLB The Show had no problems doing it, Madden 15 (sure it has sim stats problems) had no problems doing it, and I'm pretty sure FIFA is fine, and NBA 2k15 is fully featured also.

Yea I think I'll just skip NHL 15 this year. There are too many other games out that don't have stripped features for the same $60 price tag.

It wouldn't make sense anyway. Why should the draft logic be implemented in the savegame? Would make the savegame bigger than it needs to be.
