What's up guys,
I'm a big fan of late 90s NBA, its the time period where I became a die hard fan and would spend hours on end playing the yearly copies of NBA Live and games like NBA Showtime.
Past couple months I've been working on a roster that captures the essence of the league in that Late 90s era; from 1996 to 2000.
I put together rosters with the players that remind me of that era, Like up and coming Sixers with Iverson and young talents like Larry Hughes or Tim Thomas or Early Kobe years Lakers with Nick Van Exel and Eddie Jones. Hell, even comeback year Magic Johnson.
The result is a really fun roster that gives a good amalgamation of the rosters of that era. (Imagine Jason Williams and Chris Webber playing with Mitch Richmond.)
I also created as many coaches as possible and paired them with playbooks that made sense. Additionally, I added salaries to players - multiplying what they were making that year times three to give a close modern proximity. The roster is playable for MyNBA if you want to play forward starting with the 2000 draft class.
I want to thank MJWizards whos rosters provided the vast majority of players on the roster. Although I did go through and edit everyone to correct ages, years, and adjust ratings based on their output that season.

Every team had one player from their '96 squad, one player from their '97 team, 3 from 1998, and 5 each from 1999 and 2000. Massive free agent list included, including guys like Raja Bell who were undrafted but became prominent later on. Also included overseas draft picks like Manu Ginobili on teams.
Pelicans are filled with free agents of the time period and Oklahoma City should be replaced with the Sonics 96 team. (Thunder are filled with Roster Players - shoutout NBA Live)
