Generational baseball prospect??

Has anyone ever seen a prospect like this before? Reviewing draft picks from my first franchise draft. I am the mariners and the twins draft this beast in the 1st round. I have never seen a prospect like this in all my years of playing the show. We may need to start a draft studs thread.

Re: Generational baseball prospect??

I was fooling around in a franchise test season sim yesterday and I saw where the Giants drafted an 18 year old pitcher with an Overall already at 81. I'd like to know if 81 is the max high you'll see for an 18 year old

I drafted an 18 year old third baseman with 80 overall and 99 potential. Dude is a beast. That 97 stamina rating on that pitcher above is insane. I haven't checked my guy, but any chance some of these could be two way players?

I cant say for positive but while my guess is no, you can still take any pitcher (or non-pitcher) and convert him to a 2-way in 20 games

That's amazing, I would love to see the attributes on him. I was suprised to see 80 overall players because in all my years playing the show I think the highest I have ever seen is 76. I drafted a 3B in the MLB21 I believe it was that was 76 overall, 99 potential. Below average fielder but unbelievable hitter. I think when I drafted him he was high 70's contact from both sides of the plate and high 60's power from both sides with high 70's vision and discipline.

Re: Generational baseball prospect??

It took until my 6th draft to see one. Snagged a 3B who I converted (no rating change) to 1B that was 18 years old, 80 overall with 97 potential.

I left him in AA for half a season before I called him up in June. He was already an 82 overall and ended his season at 85.

I am in the off-season of 2030 now and once I start playing in 2033, he will be a blast to play with.

Re: Generational baseball prospect??

so, you guys that have drafted "generational" players, even if they are as young as 18 years old, do you go ahead and let them skip the minors (like Dave Winfield) or do you wait awhile anyway. I would think if they are already 80 Overall, they are already big league caliber
