Did EA break 23!?

I took a few weeks off of FIFA. We all know about it's issues and shortcomings...
But there are a lot of strange new problems now. Compared to a month ago.
Did EA break the game to ensure people will get/have to get the new game!?
I was already leaning away from getting 24, but now I'm a NO.

I was thinking the same thing last night! They updated the PC version again on 14th August (TU17, which means they had to patch a game they released for commercial consumption 19 times, 20 if you consider there was a 14.1 TU). Why would you patch the game again a few weeks before the release of the new one? And it made a smooth running game unplayable with universal lagging so bad that they have promised a 17.1 TU "soon". The last time EA had promised that update "soon" also was on 1st August. It took two weeks culminating in the TU17.
By the way, through the lag I suspected the gameplay had been broken too.

Let's see, the next week or so will prove your suspicion right or wrong. If the 17.1 doesn't materialize, or if when it comes the gameplay has mysteriously been broken, then you have your answer, pal.

Come on, guys, be real. EA isn't going to sabotage their own games intentionally just to make you buy the next one. Take a step back.

I have had NO issues with FIFA 23. So this "evidence" is just silly.

EA did push out a bad update for the PC that was causing in-game delays, microstuttering, and more for a lot of people (me included). The EA, Steam, and other forums were flooded with people complaining about it. Some of it must of been warranted because EA released an update within 24-hours of the previous update. I think it was an honest mistake on their part and something got through the release pipeline that shouldn't have.

I came to ask a question. A few people answered and a few people were just rude.
I didn't elaborate on the issues, because i didn't want to influence other players. However, there are other players coming up with similar new issues. Thank you, to the people who aren't here to troll or belittle posters.
