Re: NBA 2K24 Introduces New Updates to MyNBA and The W

SO glad they went with 2010-11 instead of 11-12, as Mavs fan and just NBA fan, that was a really fun year. Auto aging and the evolving media are little things that will have a big impact on immersion, love that 2K always does listen to at least a few things asked for. The one other small detail I hope they implement that wasn’t mentioned is the 2-3-2 Finals format up to 2013. I want to go back and win the championship in Miami in Game 6 like the Mavs did IRL and that wasn’t possible in ‘23.

The news / NBA.com stuff is cool, though it looks a little barebones in this initial implementation. Hopefully they build on it. I don't understand the point of MyNBA Lite. I feel like these days the only people who really play franchise mode are dorks like all of us here who actually want more options and more control, rather than a super streamlined experience. Just dunno what demographic that mode is for.

Really? What about normal franchise mode do you feel is overwhelming or too much, especially given that one can already choose to automate different things like scouting, training, etc. if you don't wanna micromanage?

⁶Nothing about presentation or bug fixes just added another era
I appreciate the LeBron era but I guess this is the year where 2k makes it a 1.5
So I'm expecting next year 2k will flood more MyNBA info
I can see them promote the in season tournament heavy

If the Lakers don't play the organ at the Staples in the LeBron era I'm gonna scream

Re: NBA 2K24 Introduces New Updates to MyNBA

I just refreshed my mind on the 2010-11 season and I really can't think of a nice starting situation for me. Only thing that's kinda intriguing is the start of the Grit and Grind Grizzlies, but I played so much with the peak team of theirs that I am not sure about that.

I would have loved another starting point in the 80s, the Bad Boys era. The last of the Celtics-Lakers rivalry, the Pistons as one of the most special teams in league history, the rise of MJ. That season gives me more, then the 83-84 saison again.
